Grant conducts commercial litigation and acts in commercial matters. His expertise comprises the following practice areas:

i) Intellectual property: Grant acts for a number of leading software developers, music publishers and game developers in respect of copyright infringement matters, and related trademark and trade practices aspects. Grant also advises on software licensing agreements.

ii) Construction: Grant has conducted the full range of construction disputes on contractual issues, scope of work, variations, extension of time, Security for Payments Act (NSW).

Grant also advises on construction contracts for both developers and builders including design and construction, construction management, cost plus.

iii) Employment: Grant acts for employers and employees in relation to contracts and employment disputes including advice on unfair and unlawful termination under the Fair Work Act and Anti discrimination legislation.

As an adjunct to his general employment practice, Grant became a registered Migration Agent in 2008 and can assist on Temporary Work Visa (Subclass 457) and Employer Nomination Scheme visa, partner migration and General Skilled Migration visas.

iv) General Commercial / Corporate/ Insolvency: After 25 years in practice, Grant is able to provide expert advice on a variety of commercial contracts, joint venture and partnership issues as well as terms of trade, and insolvency issues.
