Grant regularly conducts both commercial and litigious matters in the following areas:

• Advice and litigation relating to contraventions of Trade Practices Act, especially "misleading or deceptive" conduct.
  
• Copyright, Trademarks, Passing Off and Confidential Information.
  
• Construction disputes and contracts.
  
• Contracts of employment, acting for both employers and employees

• Computer software licensing and development.
  
• Insolvency, including retention of title arrangements, external administration under the Corporations Act and the winding up of corporations.
  
• Migration law.
