She has been with Harris & Company since 1998 and has been practising as a solicitor in New South Wales since August 1996.

 

Alexandra practises predominantly in commercial and property related matters including residential and commercial conveyancing, leasing, sale and purchase of businesses.  She has acted for developers in the acquisition of development sites and provided advice throughout the development process including the preparation options.

 

Alexandra has acted on numerous developments and has prepared and negotiated “off the plan” sale contracts giving consideration to developer, local government, financier and statutory requirements.  She advises regularly on strata and community title issues including the preparation of residential, retail and commercial by laws, building management agreements, strata management statements and community management statements.

 

Alexandra also has extensive experience in both retail and commercial leasing acting for both tenants and landlords.  She has extensive experience in relation to retail leases and the implications of the Retail Leases Act to tenancies and has represented parties in mediation proceedings related to retail tenancy disputes.

 

Alexandra acts for clients in the process of selling and buying businesses and/or business assets both small and large including complex transactional work related to and necessary for the sale of business assets, shares and share buy-backs. Alexandra is experienced in drafting and advising in relation to trust instruments including amending and varying trust instruments.

 

She takes instructions from private clients in relation to the preparation of wills and the administration of deceased estates.
